First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in the International Forum of Cultural Diplomacy, during which she announced the creation of audio guides in Ukrainian in three world-famous museums: the Colosseum (Italy), Versailles (France) and Yad Vashem (Israel). Audio recordings for the Colosseum are ready and were submitted for integration into the museum's audio guide system, and memoranda have recently been signed with Versailles and Yad Vashem.
"Cultural diplomacy is one of the priority areas of work that I have chosen for myself as the wife of the President. This is a very broad concept, with many opportunities and tools for engagement and self-expression. There are many formats, but the goal is the same: to present our country in the world as widely and vividly as possible through its culture and language," Olena Zelenska said during her speech.
"My format, my way of contributing is to promote the Ukrainian language in the world through the creation of Ukrainian-language audio guides in the world's largest museums and cultural monuments," the First Lady said.
"For me, this project is not just about convenience. First of all, it is about the spread of the Ukrainian language in the world, about the fact that the voice of Ukraine is heard in the most outstanding world attractions. So that we, Ukrainians, visiting other countries, could feel proud seeing the flag of Ukraine among the list of language options for audio guides," Olena Zelenska told the forum participants.
