Oleh Tatarov discussed with OSCE representatives the fight against organized crime and the law enforcement reform

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleh Tatarov met with OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine Ambassador Henrik Villadsen, National Legal Adviser Oleksandr Vodiannikov and Legal Reform Program Manager Vitaliy Hatseliuk.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the effectiveness of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and the legislative support of the law enforcement process.

According to Oleh Tatarov, the Ukrainian authorities and European colleagues have one goal - to ensure the effective operation of the security sector. This applies to the fight against corruption, as well as transnational organized crime.

"For more than a year, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine has provided significant support to the law enforcement reform, implemented cooperation projects with representatives of relevant institutions, including assistance in developing regulations and organizing various events - round tables, seminars, courses and so on," the Deputy Head of the Office of the President noted.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue active cooperation until the end of 2020 and throughout 2021.
