Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine requires air defense systems, particularly MANPADS.
The Ukrainian Head of State briefed his counterpart on the current stage of implementation of the agreements reached during the NATO Summit in Washington.
The meeting also covered Ukrainian-Finnish defense cooperation, including joint drone production and the exchange of expertise in this area.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the importance for Ukraine to receive permission and capabilities from its partners to strike deep into Russian territory.
The leaders also discussed what specific international efforts are needed to achieve a lasting and just peace for Ukraine and the role of the Global South in this process.
