Our Country Will Always Be Profoundly Grateful to Those Thanks to Whom It Withstood – The President Presented 30 Apartment Certificates to Heroes of Ukraine and Families of Fallen Heroes

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented apartment certificates to Heroes of Ukraine and family members of fallen warriors honored with this title posthumously.

“For almost a year, we have been gathering at least once a month in the Mariyinsky Palace to continue our state's initiative for its warriors. A tradition of profound gratitude, respect and attention to the best sons and daughters of Ukraine, Heroes of Ukraine and the families of our Heroes,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State presented 30 housing certificates: 25 to warriors and relatives of fallen personnel of the Land Forces, Air Force, Naval Forces, Airborne Assault Forces, Special Operations Forces, Territorial Defense Forces; and five to representatives of the National Guard and the State Emergency Service.

The President emphasized that over the course of the full-scale war, thousands of Ukrainians demonstrated their finest virtues, strong will, extraordinary courage and selflessness on the battlefield.

“Ukraine will undoubtedly achieve its goal of living in true peace, with its own will and its own state. Our future generations, who will live in such a state, will always know and honor the Heroes who saved Ukraine, its independence, and each of our lives,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State urged the participants to never forget the ultimate price of our struggle for freedom. The memory of all the defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine was honored with a minute of silence.
