At the invitation of the President of Ukraine, ambassadors of different countries will spend two days in the Kherson region

During a working trip to the Kherson region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a group of ambassadors who will spend two days in the region at his invitation. In particular, among the ambassadors are representatives of the G7, GUAM, other European and Asian countries, as well as European institutions.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the steps taken by the state and the region for the development of the Kherson region. In particular, about the program "Great Construction" within which infrastructure long-term constructions will be completed, about concession and investment projects, which will help economic development of the region.

Separately, the Head of State drew attention to legislative initiatives that should simplify the work of foreign investors in Ukraine and open more opportunities for investment. For example, the law on gambling, concession, water transport, etc.

"We want you to see that the Kherson region is the pearl of the south of Ukraine. We want you to see that you can have a wonderful rest here, see our benefits - both tourist and investment, our hospitable people, our responsible business," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said and wished the diplomats a good rest.

In two days, the ambassadors will visit the main pearls of the Kherson region. In particular, the Askania-Nova National Reserve, Prince Trubetskoy's winery, Dzharylhach Island, which is called the Ukrainian Maldives, etc.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yuriy Husev who organized a tour for the diplomats.
