Four additional hospitals are involved in working with COVID-19 patients in Zakarpattia to help with the admission of the infected. This was announced by Chief medical officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko in response to a question from the President of Ukraine at a traditional conference call chaired by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"It is necessary to provide funding for these hospitals from the National Health Service of Ukraine. If there is already funding and provision of a sufficient number of beds for patients, then it is necessary to report not only to me - it is necessary to tell people in Zakarpattia about it, so that they do not worry that something is missing. The government must always be with the people," the Head of State stressed.

In response, Viktor Lyashko informed that there are enough beds for patients with COVID-19 in Zakarpattia, the situation is stabilizing.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal noted the stabilization of the situation with coronavirus infection in Ukraine and added that today there were more people who had recovered (651 people) than those who had fallen ill (638 people). In addition, out of 2,635 ventilators in first-line hospitals (247 institutions), only 153 units (5.8%) are involved. In 375 health care facilities, 28,732 beds were prepared for the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
