Forest fires continue in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
The night before, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov, Minister of Defense Andriy Taran, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna went to the site of fires. They are in direct contact with the Office of the President, urgently providing all the details of the fire spread. The Head of State keeps the situation under personal control. He expresses his sincere condolences over the death of a person in the Luhansk region and expects an effective solution to the problems of the victims.
The government is preparing a project of help to the victims in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
"We must repel this force of nature, I wish inspiration to all firefighters. It is even harder to work in the woods in such heat. But with their heroic work they save lives. We must be prepared to respond quickly to people's needs - first of all ensure medical care, evacuation opportunities, and then provide financial and professional support to help people return to life. I am closely monitoring the situation," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
