The candidate for the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Policy and Defense-Industrial Complex is to be determined in a week. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting with local business representatives during a working trip to the Odesa region.
During a meeting with entrepreneurs, the President stressed that the preservation of jobs and the development of Ukrainian enterprises is one of the government's priorities.
"This is a very important issue for us. We have decided to restore the post of the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Policy. We have already seen many professional people - now we are choosing the best candidate," the President said.
According to him, the development of industry is a strategic view of Ukraine's development.
"For us, the country's industry, the military-industrial complex, the space industry, all our enterprises are the strategy of the country's development, for Ukraine to be an industrial state and a state with space industry," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
