President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that an active work to improve the technical support of troops has been held over the last two years, and the Independence Day parade will demonstrate achievements in this direction. The President said this in an interview for Inter TV channel, which he and his wife Olena Zelenska gave on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
The President noted that this year Ukraine celebrates its thirtieth Independence Day. In addition, the founding summit of the Crimea Platform, which is designed to promote the deoccupation of the peninsula, will take place in Kyiv these days.
"An important year, important summits. We must show everything Ukraine has - the quality, the level. We are constantly increasing the budget for our military. I am proud of that… I think that people should see what the state has spent money on,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
According to him, the parade will showcase new tanks, planes, Ukrainian and French helicopters, including equipment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, equipment of border guards and rescuers of the SES.
