During a working visit to Odesa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the medical institutions where wounded servicemen of the Ukrainian Navy are being treated.
The Head of State talked to the military and presented them with state awards. For personal courage and selfless actions displayed in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, the warriors were awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree, as well as medals "For Military Service to Ukraine" and "To the Defender of the Homeland".
"I congratulate you on the Day of the Ukrainian Navy! Thank you for your service. You are doing a great job! I wish you a speedy recovery. Glory to Ukraine!" Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President also talked to the hospital staff and awarded the representatives of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the III degree, Danylo Halytskyi and the medal "To the Defender of the Homeland".
"I want to thank you for your attention to our heroes, for your work, and wish you health," the Head of State said.
