On the second anniversary of the start of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, and Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, honored the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The Head of the Ukrainian state and foreign leaders walked along the line of the honor guard soldiers and laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv.
Soldiers of the honor guard of the Armed Forces of Ukraine laid a wreath from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and wreaths from the heads of the governments of Italy, Canada, Belgium, and the President of the European Commission.
To the sounds of the trumpet, those present paid tribute to the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
