During a working trip to the Chernihiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a military hospital and talked with defenders of Ukraine who are undergoing treatment after injuries they sustained during hostilities, in particular in the Donetsk region.
Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany Robert Habeck visited the military hospital together with the Head of State.
The President presented state awards to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Thank you for your courage. I wish you a speedy recovery, and I wish all of us victory," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Head of State also met with the medics and presented them with state awards.
"Thank you for your important work and saving the lives of our warriors," he said.
The President and foreign guests observed the facility's equipment, including a modern CT scan provided by the German government.
