In Bukovyna, the State Geocadastre transferred 88 hectares of land to communal ownership for allocation of plots to ATO/JFO veterans - President

The State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre has transferred 88 hectares of land in the Chernivtsi region to communal ownership for allocation to ATO/JFO veterans who have the right to land plots for individual development. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with media representatives within a working trip to Bukovyna.

The Head of State noted that he was addressed by veterans with a request to help solve the problem of obtaining land. According to them, local authorities did not allocate land, arguing the lack of vacant space and offering plots in other regions.

"Therefore, today, thanks to the new Head of the State Geocadastre Roman Leshchenko, 88 hectares of land have been allocated for Bukovyna residents," the President said.

Thus, in the near future at least 1,500 ATO/JFO veterans will receive plots for individual housing development.

"We are grateful to them for having a life. We must make them feel that the state also cares about them. This is fair," Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up.
