The Mykolaiv House of Fleet Officers will be included in the list of objects of "Great Restoration". This decision was made during a working trip of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Mykolaiv region.
MP Davyd Arakhamia drew the President's attention to the fact that the building, located in the city center, is now in extremely poor condition and is collapsing. In recent years, local authorities have done nothing to correct the situation.
"The building has been on the city's balance sheet for almost 10 years. However, nothing has been done during this time," Davyd Arakhamia said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy was stunned by the appearance and condition of the building. The President expressed the opinion that the building could become a landmark of the city, and supported the proposal of Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko and MP Davyd Arakhamia to include this object in the list of "Great Restoration" that will be carried out by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy next year.
"Let the state do everything to make it a landmark of the city," Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed.
