During a working trip to Donbas, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the positions on the frontline of defense, where the largest number of violations of the comprehensive and permanent ceasefire regime was recorded.
The Head of State talked to the servicemen. The defenders told the President about the situation on the frontline.
"Thank you for keeping people calm and defending our land. You are a true example of heroism and dedication. We remember every warrior who died defending our state," the President said.
The attendees honored the memory of soldiers who died in the battles for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine with a moment of silence.
The President presented state awards and valuable gifts to the Ukrainian defenders.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy had lunch with servicemen in the soldier's canteen. The President noted the high quality of food used by the military.
