In Vilnius, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The head of the Ukrainian state thanked Poland for its consistent support of Ukraine and defense assistance. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the country's participation in the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine.
He informed his colleague about the Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities, the liquidation of the consequences and the dire situation in Kharkiv.
"Ukraine is increasingly suffering from Russian missile terror. Every day our infrastructure gets destroyed and people die. Therefore, we are in dire need of increased support from partners, primarily in air defense," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
The leaders also discussed the preparation of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, the bilateral security agreement and cooperation regarding the future membership of Ukraine in the EU and NATO.
