On International Volunteer Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the Ukrainian volunteer movement and presented them with the Golden Heart presidential award.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy wished the prosecutors maximum efficiency and focus on the results that Ukrainian society and the state objectively need.

During a working trip to Zaporizhzhia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the operational situation in the region and the course of hostilities within the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops.

The Head of State listened to the reports of Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and his First Deputy Oleksandr Pavliuk. Representatives of military administrations, local authorities and military commanders also delivered reports.

The Head of State visited classrooms where lessons in mathematics, English language, and music were underway. Volodymyr Zelenskyy talked to the children and inquired about the details of their studies.

Following his visits to the frontline in the south and east of Ukraine, the President informed the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on the priority needs to enhance the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian warriors and reinforce the sky shield.

The leaders discussed the current situation on the battlefield.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov listened to a report by Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Commander of the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops Oleksandr Syrskyi on the operational situation in his area of responsibility.

According to him, young people in Ukraine are one of the strongest factors motivating to win the war.
