The Estonian government will allocate at least 0.25% of GDP annually in 2024-2027 for military support to our country. Estonia was the first country to propose fixing a percentage of GDP to support Ukraine in bilateral security agreements.

In Brussels, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen signed the Joint Security Commitments between Ukraine and the EU.

At the Field of Mars of the Lychakiv Cemetery, the Head of State laid flowers to the graves of the defenders of Ukraine who were killed in the battles with the Russian occupiers.

During his working trip to the Donetsk region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the security situation in the region. During the meeting, the Head of State officially introduced the newly appointed Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov.

The medics are the first to receive the wounded from the battlefield here – not only from their own brigade, but also from neighboring units. The coordinator of the stabilization point, Vitaliy Tymoshchuk, told the Head of State about the specifics of their work, and the supply of medications and equipment.

The fighting in the Pokrovsk direction is the most intense. Dmytro Bilyi, deputy commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, reported that Russian forces carry out between 15 and over 30 assaults per day. He also informed about the unit's immediate needs.

Among those released are the warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Navy, the National Guard, the Territorial Defense Forces, and Border Guard Service: defenders of Mariupol, Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk directions.
