Ukraine is working hard to obtain long-range weapons, and the results of this work will be visible in some time. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy while speaking to Ukrainian journalists in Washington.

In the framework of his working visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with U.S. President Joseph Biden.

In the presence of the Head of State, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova signed the relevant certificate of transfer of Ukrainian artifacts confiscated by U.S. law enforcement agencies.

In the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, memoranda of cooperation and development of joint projects were signed between the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, the Global Defense & Industry Alliance, the Arizona Defense & Industry Coalition, and the Utah Aerospace and Defense Association.

The presidential couple was accompanied by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

The main topic of negotiations was further provision of Ukraine with the necessary military support to counter Russian aggression. The aid has already reached $46 billion.

The Head of State noted that the meeting was another confirmation of the strategic partnership between the two states.

The Head of State noted that Ukraine is sincerely grateful to the House of Representatives, Congress, both parties, the President of the United States, his administration and the entire American people for their unwavering support.

The highest award of the Atlantic Council was presented to the Head of State in May this year in Kyiv. The official award ceremony took place in New York.

The Head of State thanked Germany for a significant long-term support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, particularly noting the recent defense packages provided by Germany and the contribution to reinforcing the air defense of our country.
