During a working trip to Volyn region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a coordination meeting on the socio-economic and security situation in the region.

At the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Lviv, representatives of the clergy and heads of religious organizations served prayers for Ukraine. They prayed for the victory of our state and a just peace.

Zelenskyy said that Colonel Pivnenko is a strong soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine who distinguished himself in the battles against the Russian invaders, in particular, in the battles for Bakhmut in Donetsk region.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a working trip to Lviv region, where he met with the personnel of the Western Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine and presented state awards.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met the defenders at the Istanbul airport and congratulated them on their return.

The parties discussed issues of defense cooperation and set the dates for starting the training mission for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft.

The Portuguese Republic will continue its political, financial, humanitarian and military support to Ukraine for as long as it takes – individually and through international cooperation in the European Union, in NATO, in the United Nations and in other formats. 

The interlocutors coordinated their positions on the eve of the Vilnius NATO summit. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of the Alliance's decisive position regarding Ukraine's future membership.

"I want to thank His All Holiness. Today is an important day – our struggle has been going on for 500 days – since the full-scale invasion. We have the support of His All Holiness, prayers for our soldiers, for the nation, for our people, for life in Ukraine," the Head of State said.

As part of his visit to the Republic of Türkiye, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a memorial prayer for the victims of the war in Ukraine, led by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
