The agreement between Ukraine, Türkiye and the United Nations on the Black Sea Grain Initiative remains in force, so our country is ready to continue the functioning of the "grain corridor". This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday during an interview with African media.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not rule out that Russia will react to the agreement by the G7 countries on security guarantees for Ukraine by attempting to block humanitarian initiatives in order to create new crises. He said this during a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media following his visit to Lithuania and participation in the NATO Summit.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the main goal for Ukraine is to win the war with Russia, which will open the possibility of joining the Alliance.

"The most important thing is that we equally understand the conditions when and how Ukraine will join NATO. Maybe not all the details are communicated, but for me it was very important that there is certainty that Ukraine will be in NATO, that no one will trade NATO membership with anyone. That this is a real political decision based on the security situation in Ukraine," the Head of State said.

The interlocutors paid special attention to the issue of Ukraine's preparation to the start of negotiations on EU membership and reviewed the state of implementation of the relevant seven recommendations of the European Commission by our country.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to Joseph Biden, the Congress and the entire American people for the powerful assistance, primarily military, provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia.

This is an important step in shaping the future system of guaranteeing Ukraine's security until it becomes a full-fledged NATO member.
