On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz to discuss further support for Ukraine and coordination with partners in pursuit of a just peace.

Europe must maintain unity, increase defense spending, ensure energy independence and be able to guarantee security. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his speech to the participants of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Lithuania’s assistance, which has exceeded €1.5 billion, half of which is defense support. Strengthening Ukraine’s position on the battlefield is crucial on the path to achieving a just and lasting peace.

In Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska visited a hospital, meeting with wounded warriors and the medical staff aiding their recovery.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Heads of the Foreign Ministries of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Türkiye, Croatia and Montenegro who came to Ukraine to participate in the first ministerial meeting in the Ukraine – Southeast Europe format.
