Yesterday, on the eve of National Guard of Ukraine Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with NGU service members, presented state awards, conferred officer ranks, and handed over battle flags and honorary distinction ribbons.

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Security Service of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Security Service personnel, presented them with state awards, and conferred senior officer ranks.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy received letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassadors of Sri Lanka and Guatemala to Ukraine (concurrently accredited).

The parties discussed the situation at the front and the developments in the key directions: Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, as well as the course of the operation in the Kursk region.

The President received a report from the Commander of the Operational Tactical Group Kharkiv, including on efforts to protect civilians in Kharkiv and the region from UAVs, as well as a report from the Commander of the 13th Khartiia Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine on the current situation in his unit's area of responsibility. He also was briefed on the digitalized analysis and management system developed by the brigade.

The Commander of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade Bohdan Shevchuk reported on the situation within the brigade's area of responsibility and its engagement with neighboring units.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Petr Pavel discussed all the key details of the situation on the frontline and the overall course of the war. The President of Ukraine also shared details of his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump and the preparations of the Ukrainian and American teams for a new meeting in Saudi Arabia.

The two presidents visited the “Angels of Victory” memorial, located on the site where decisive battles for Moshchun took place.
