The military officials reported on efforts to defend the Dnipro region from aerial threats. In particular, work is ongoing to increase the number of mobile fire groups, light aviation, and anti-aircraft artillery. Crews are also being equipped for operations at night and in adverse weather conditions, while interceptor drones are being deployed to combat Russian UAVs, including “Shahed” drones.

Only the most difficult conditions for Russia on the battlefield and in international relations can force it to do what is needed for true peace. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his online address at the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the Ramstein format.

Russian occupiers launched a ballistic missile at the city, hitting an area next to apartment buildings and a children's playground, last Friday afternoon. This attack claimed the lives of 19 people, 9 of them children.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the Ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic missions in Ukraine and noted that our country looks forward to developing cooperation with their respective states. The President also invited leading companies from these countries to take part in the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held on July 10-11 in Rome.

The leaders also met with representatives of ten leading Belgian defense companies. Discussions focused on the development of Ukraine’s defense industry, opportunities for joint production, and the localization of manufacturing in Ukraine.

According to the Head of State, over a thousand schools from across the country have already submitted applications to join “Mriia,” and all of them will be accepted. In total, the state plans to connect thousands more schools by the end of this year. Moreover, starting this year, “Mriia” is scaling up nationwide and expanding. One of the key new initiatives is a pilot project called “Preschool Education.”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, who made Ukraine the destination of his first visit since taking office.

During a battle in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian defenders captured two Chinese servicemembers who were fighting as part of the Russian army. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a meeting with media representatives.
