President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA Europe) Turgay Demirel. The main topic of the talks was the application for holding the European Men's Basketball Championship among national teams in 2025 (Eurobasket-2025) in Ukraine.

"It's a big real step forward. I am grateful to President Erdoğan. This is a real support for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine," the Ukrainian President said.

On the 155th anniversary of the birth of a prominent Ukrainian scientist, politician Mykhailo Hrushevsky, a basket of flowers from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was laid at the monument to historian on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv.

"The tragedy of Babyn Yar, which happened in Ukraine 80 years ago, must never happen again. Neither in Ukraine nor in other parts of Europe. Nowhere in the world," the President summed up.

The President suggested considering the possibility of opening a Facebook office in Ukraine.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should propose a set of measures to combat the forgery of PCR tests and COVID-19 vaccination certificates, as well as to monitor the implementation of all necessary measures by Ukrainians and foreign nationals entering Ukraine from abroad.

The President noted the importance of further cooperation with Egypt, which is Ukraine's main trading partner in Africa. Volodymyr Zelenskyy reaffirmed his readiness to develop bilateral relations and increase the supply of domestic products to the market of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the initiative of President of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) Gianni Buquicchio, a phone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took place.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson in New York. The parties positively assessed the first results of the implementation of the Agreement on Political Cooperation, Free Trade and Strategic Partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
