On April 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mrs. Olena Zelenska will pay an official visit to the State of Qatar.

Significant attention was paid to the strengthening of democracies in both countries. The presidents stressed that establishing and maintaining democracy was a difficult daily task. In this context, President Joe Biden noted that he admired the leadership of Volodymyr Zelenskyy in transforming Ukraine into a state with strong democratic institutions.

The parties focused on countering the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring a proper vaccination procedure, which is currently underway in both Ukraine and Estonia. The interlocutors stressed the importance of ensuring proper access of countries to certified vaccines.

The Verkhovna Rada held a successful and productive extraordinary session, said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, he noted that the parliament had approved a number of important bills needed by Ukrainian citizens and businesses.
