Denmark’s security commitments reflect a strategic choice and involve comprehensive support to Ukraine’s inherent right of self-defense against Russia’s full-scale war of aggression and deterrence of future Russian aggression.

The Head of State listened to the report of the brigade commander Lieutenant Colonel Oleksiy Trubnikov on the operational situation in the relevant section of the frontline and interaction with the adjacent units of the Defense Forces.

The heads of state also paid considerable attention to the issues of defense support for Ukraine, enhancing cooperation between the two countries' defense industries and joint arms production.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the U.S. Congress passing a bill on supplemental funding for the Ukrainian Defense Forces as soon as possible.

The President expressed hope that the House of Representatives would adopt the decisions ensuring further necessary U.S. support for Ukraine in countering Russia's full-scale aggression.
