During a working trip to Kyiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a thematic lesson "Cities of Heroes. Ukraine's Victories in the War" held at Lyceum No. 1 in Hostomel for 10th grade students.
On the second anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv region from the Russian occupiers, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of the defenders fallen during the defense and liberation of the village of Moshchun, and presented state awards.
On the eve of the European Council meeting, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the European Council Charles Michel.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed the U.S. Senator on the situation on the frontline and the priority needs of the Armed Forces. The President emphasized the critical importance of further provision of military and technical assistance by partners, including air defense systems and missiles.
"And everyone who earns respect for the Ukrainian character and the Ukrainian state helps us all. They help the people to endure. They help our fighters on the front lines in the fight for our independence," said the Head of State.
On Ukrainian Volunteer Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the servicemen and presented state awards, including the Golden Star Orders of the Hero of Ukraine.
