The Head of State thanked Poland for comprehensive assistance to Ukraine in countering Russian aggression and emphasized the importance of the Sejm's support for our country.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, who is on a visit to our country.

The Head of State noted that the task of the commanders who completed the training is to increase the strength and professionalism of national defense.

The gathering of representatives of so many reputable countries, organizations and religious leaders at the Global Peace Summit shows that everyone needs peace. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference following the Summit in Switzerland.

He thanked Ghana for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity from the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, in particular during the voting for the UN General Assembly resolutions.

During the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland on June 15-16, participants agreed on a common position on three points.

We gathered in Switzerland on 15-16 June 2024 to enhance a high-level dialogue on pathways towards a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine. This Summit was built on the previous discussions that have taken place based on Ukraine’s Peace Formula and other peace proposals which are in line with international law, including the United Nations Charter. 

The Head of State thanked Cyprus for the humanitarian assistance provided to our country and noted the personal participation of Nikos Christodoulides in the Global Peace Summit.

The Head of State expressed gratitude for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine from the first days of full-scale Russian aggression, as well as the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
