Europe must maintain unity, increase defense spending, ensure energy independence and be able to guarantee security. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his speech to the participants of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Lithuania’s assistance, which has exceeded €1.5 billion, half of which is defense support. Strengthening Ukraine’s position on the battlefield is crucial on the path to achieving a just and lasting peace.

The Head of State handed over the Order of the Golden Star to the family of the fallen Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Maslovskyi (call sign “Cobra”), a warrior of the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade.

The President expressed gratitude to the Italian government and people for the military support of Ukraine, as well as Italy’s efforts under its G7 presidency, particularly in strengthening sanctions against the aggressor state.
