The Head of State laid flowers on the graves of fallen warriors at the Field of Mars in the Lychakiv Cemetery, where defenders of Ukraine who died in battles against Russian occupiers have been buried since April 2022.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Latvia for all the defense assistance provided, noting that Ukraine needs training and equipping of brigades by its allies, following the example of France and the United States.

Finland has approved the 26th defense support package for Ukraine and has already started preparing the next one. This was announced by President of Finland Alexander Stubb in a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The search and rescue operation lasted nearly two days and concluded this afternoon. The strike claimed the lives of 11 people and injured 22 others.

The President introduced Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi as the new Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and noted that he expects results – stopping the enemy and achieving victory. Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported on the construction of fortifications and the strengthening of operational defense lines.

This is the first underground school in the region. Volodymyr Zelenskyy toured the school, joined a lesson, and spoke with the children about their impressions of the facility and their favorite subjects.

One key topic was the training of mobilized soldiers. The Head of State noted that he expects changes in training centers. Significant attention was also devoted to ensuring the supply of drones and their operational use.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline command post of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, which is defending the Zaporizhzhia region.

The underground hospital is capable of treating up to 200 patients daily and is equipped with a full range of modern medical equipment as well as everything needed for the medics’ accommodation.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited one of the divisions of the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade named after Petro Kalnyshevskyi. During his visit, he inspected the equipment, received a briefing and presented state awards to the warriors.
