The Head of State expressed gratitude for the clear position of Singapore on condemning Russian aggression, supporting sanctions pressure on Russia and for the humanitarian assistance provided.

It is only Ukraine, as a victim of war, that has the full right to initiate the path to ending it, namely the Peace Summit. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with foreign media representatives on the sidelines of the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. 

The Head of State thanked the Singaporean businessmen who continue to work in Ukraine in a difficult time for our country and maintain employment.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Asian leaders and countries to join the Global Peace Summit.

The two sides discussed Ukraine's defense needs, which are being addressed by U.S. assistance, including training and equipping new brigades.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the significance of the participation of Southeast Asian countries in the Global Peace Summit and thanked José Manuel Ramos-Horta for confirming his participation in the event.

In Singapore, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee led by its Chairman, Republican Party member Michael McCaul.

The Ukrainian Head of State expressed hope for Indonesia's participation in the Global Peace Summit at the highest level.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the special assistance to young Ukrainians, in particular within the framework of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. The President informed His Majesty about Ukraine's expectations from the first Global Peace Summit.

During his working visit to the Kingdom of Sweden, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
