The head of President's Office met with a French delegation led by the diplomatic advisor to the President of France

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with a delegation from the French Republic, including the diplomatic advisor to the President of France, Emmanuel Bonne, the head of the military staff of the President of France, Fabien Mandon, and advisors to the President of France, Xavier Chatel and Bertrand Buchwalter.

As part of the visit of the French delegation, Andriy Yermak and Emmanuel Bonne laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv.

During the meeting, the parties extensively discussed a wide range of current international and bilateral agenda issues. They focused on the security situation and the urgent needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to counter Russian aggression.

The head of the President's Office expressed gratitude to France for its substantial defense assistance to Ukraine during the Russian aggression.

"France shows unwavering support for Ukraine, bringing us closer to our common victory and strengthening security in Europe. Our strategic partnership continues to strengthen," Andriy Yermak said.

The parties confirmed their interest in enhancing cooperation between defense enterprises of the two countries. Additionally, the participants exchanged views on the implementation of the Peace Formula and preparations for the upcoming Peace Summit.

"The Ukrainian Peace Formula is a tangible algorithm for ensuring a just peace, overcoming the consequences of war, and preventing new aggression. We appreciate France's support in implementing the Formula and promoting it among Global South countries," the Head of the President's Office said.

As part of the visit of the French delegation, another round of negotiations with France on concluding a bilateral agreement on the provision of security commitments to Ukraine took place.

The parties discussed the reviewed draft of the relevant agreement and aligned positions on specific elements of the document.

"Our negotiating teams today demonstrated tangible progress and approached the finalization of the bilateral agreement," Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva said.

The negotiating parties expressed hope for the possibility of signing the agreement soon.
