Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held a video conference with International Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Quarrey.

The conversation took place in the framework of a working meeting of Ukrainian and British diplomats coordinated by the Head of the Office of the President.

Andriy Yermak and David Quarrey noted a fruitful and important conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson on April 5, during which the British Prime Minister underscored his support for Ukraine and expressed serious concern over the aggravation of the situation in Donbas.

The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for more active involvement of the OSCE mechanisms to resolve the situation in Donbas.

The British side stressed the importance of providing truthful information about the situation in eastern Ukraine. In this regard, Andriy Yermak reminded that on April 6, the Center for Countering Disinformation established in Ukraine was presented and its head was introduced.

"Disinformation is a really serious challenge of our time. It is very important for us to convey the position of Ukraine and truthful information," said the Head of the President's Office.
