On June 26, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the appointment of eight heads of regional state administrations proposed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, namely of Kyiv, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Kherson, Cherkasy, Luhansk, Odesa and Lviv regions.
Thus, Mykhailo Bno-Airiian became Kyiv RSA Head, Pavlo Kyrylenko - Donetsk RSA Head, Ihor Bondarenko - Zakarpattia RSA Head, Yuriy Husev - Kherson RSA Head, Ihor Shevchenko - Cherkasy RSA Head, Vitaliy Komarnytsky - Luhansk RSA Head, Andriy Andreychykov - Odesa RSA Head, Markiyan Malsky - Lviv RSA Head.
"I am convinced that these regions have received worthy leaders. These people have undergone rigorous selection and proved their ability to solve the tasks the President sets. First of all - to ensure purification of local authorities and economic growth. They have little time to confirm their professionalism and competence with concrete results. If there is no result, we will quickly find new leaders of these regions. We will not have any form of immunity at any level," the First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Trofimov noted.
