Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bohdan appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers with a letter, in which he had reminded of the need to make a submission on the dismissal of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Klychko. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka in a comment to journalists on July 24.
"It was a reminder from Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bohdan to the Prime Minister of Ukraine that it is necessary to make a submission on the dismissal of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitaliy Klychko. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Local State Administrations", the heads of the local state administrations are designated by the President of Ukraine upon submission of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the term of authorities of the President of Ukraine. Vitaliy Klychko was designated by the former president of Ukraine on the position of the Head of Kyiv City State Administration in June 2014. Accordingly, the Prime Minister must fulfill a requirement of the law and make a submission on the dismissal of Head of Kyiv City State Administration", Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine said.
According to him, the Prime Minister made a statement on the dismissal of all heads the local state administrations, in addition to the Head of the KSCA.
Ruslan Ryaboshapka noted that the Prime Minister should make an appropriate submission to the President. He hopes that this issue will be considered at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
At the same time, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine urged not to politicize the issue of dismissal of the Head of the KSCA.
"There is a norm of law according to which the head of the local state administration is designated for the term of authorities of the President of Ukraine. What policy might be that the President was changed and the term of the head of the local state administration ended? "Ruslan Ryaboshapka added.
