The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Mudra met with the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder, Vice President Tetyana Prokopchuk, and Co-Chair of the Chamber Legal Committee Vitaliy Odzhykovskyi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the main aspects of the judicial reform focusing on the establishment of the High Administrative Court, staffing of courts, in particular of the Supreme Court, and holding competitions for the positions of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court and the Constitutional Court.
“The rule of law, effective judicial reform, fair justice and transparent selection of judges to courts of all instances are key components for the transparent business development in Ukraine,” emphasized Iryna Mudra.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President noted that the Ukrainian side is committed to maximum cooperation and successful implementation of the judicial reform.
The representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine stated that the stability of the rule of law and state institutions is the basis for investing significant capital in our country.
