Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Peter MacDougall.
Ihor Zhovkva noted positive results of the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Canada in July, as well as the successful holding of the Third International Conference on Reforms in Ukraine in Toronto.
The interest of the Ukrainian side in liberalizing the regime of trips of Ukrainian citizens to Canada was separately emphasized. This topic was discussed during the bilateral talks at the highest level in Toronto in July.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President also expressed hope for the intensification of the negotiations on expanding the scope of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada, which had already proven effective.
