Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President expressed his gratitude to the President of the NATO PA for her important visit to Ukraine, which demonstrates the constant strong support of our country by the parliamentarians of the Alliance member states.
The resolution of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, adopted in November 2022, was separately noted. In this resolution, the Assembly, among other things, called on the governments and parliaments of the countries of the Alliance to clearly state that Russia under the current regime is a terrorist state, as well as to make efforts to establish an international tribunal to bring to responsibility for the crime of aggression committed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Zhovkva and Garriaud-Maylam also exchanged views on the possible results of the NATO summit in Vilnius to be held in July 2023 concerning further successes in the course of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
