The Kharkiv region is ahead of most regions of Ukraine in terms of the pace of roads commissioning within the project "Great Construction". President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted this during a conversation with the media in the Kharkiv region.
"It’s alright. Everything is going according to the plan. Frankly speaking, in terms of commissioning of roads and other facilities, the Kharkiv region is currently ahead of most regions. This is it. Although I see that all regions have raised their game. And we are commissioning all the roads this year in the volume greater than planned in the specified period," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
"282 km is more than in any other year. Even in preparation for EURO 2012. Kharkiv was a city that got a lot of roads at that time because it was one of the host cities. But we are still doing much more this year," Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov said.
At the same time, Head of the Kharkiv regional state administration Oleksiy Kucher clarified that all the planned local roads in the region have been repaired by September 1.
Separately, the RSA Head informed that it is planned to create 15 modern ER departments in hub hospitals of the region. The work has already begun in nine of them.
The Head of State assured that all major long-term construction projects across the country will be completed. The construction of important medical centers, hospitals and schools is also speeding up.
