President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Gennadiy Trukhanov, mayor of Odessa, to urgently resolve the issue of land allocation for the arrangement of free entry of business representatives into the territory of the Odesa seaport for cargo execution.
"It is necessary to find an opportunity to solve the problem of allocation of a land plot to the Odesa seaport in order to organize the free entry into the port’s territory for business," the Head of State noted.
Currently, there is only one large access path to the port that belongs to a private structure. The President considers this situation unacceptable and emphasizes that this creates a monopoly that affects a large number of entrepreneurs.
City mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov promised to make efforts to resolve the issue, keep it under control and inform the President of the situation.
