During a working trip to the Donetsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a hospital where the wounded Ukrainian servicemen, including the defenders of Bakhmut, are being treated.
The President spoke with the military and presented them with state awards. The defenders were awarded the Orders "For Courage" of the III degree and medals "For Military Service to Ukraine".
"Thank you for defending Ukraine, I wish you a speedy recovery," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State also got acquainted with the capabilities of the medical institution to receive patients. Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected a CT scanner, an operating room and an intensive care unit.
The President presented the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of the III degree, Princess Olha of the III degree and Danylo Halytskyi to representatives of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“I would like to thank you for your professionalism and work. Until victory it is necessary to save the lives of many people who are defending our country. You are defending it at your front. I wish you health and I am grateful that you are returning this health to the boys and girls who are at the front," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
