Ukrainian citizens and business representatives have submitted more than 200,000 applications for financial assistance under the program implemented in connection with the tightening of quarantine restrictions. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his vlog.
"More than 200,000 applications for UAH 8,000 in state aid have already been received through the Diia portal and mobile application," he said.
The President also reminded that the regional branches of the State Tax Service continue to compensate for the UST, and the State Employment Center compensates for partial unemployment.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the full payment of wage arrears to miners in October and November; payments for December will start on Monday.
The President thanked the international partners for the support they provide to Ukraine.
"This is 600 million euros of macro-financial assistance from the European Union. 170 - from the World Bank for social assistance to victims of the pandemic and 640 million from the European Investment Bank for the development of the eastern regions, urban transport in all regions and road construction," he said.
The President also announced on Twitter that the IMF mission to review the stand-by program has begun. Due to the pandemic, the mission will begin its work online on Monday and will resume work after the New Year holidays in January.
