President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got acquainted with the condition of the Preobrazhensky Bridge in Zaporizhzhya.
According to Engineering Manager of the Prydniprovska Zaliznytsya Serhiy Gavrilenko, the technical condition of the railway part of the bridge is currently satisfactory and does not require repair. At the same time it is necessary to unload the automobile part of the crossing. Bridge expansion is impossible due to the design features.
The President proposed to restrict the movement of heavy-lift transport at the crossing.
The Head of State also asked Acting Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Ella Slepian the repairing of Zaporizhzhya -Mariupol road section, which is planned to be completed in the first half of next year.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Mayor of Zaporizhzhya to find funds for repairing the road section in the direction of Kryvyi Rih.
