During a working trip to the Khmelnytskyi region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the construction of the Palace of Sports in the regional center on Prybuzka Street carried out under the National Large Construction Program.
The Palace of Sports will have 2.5 thousand seats with the possibility of increasing to 3.1 thousand. There will be an opportunity to organize volleyball, basketball, handball, futsal training sessions and competitions, etc.
According to Head of the Khmelnytskyi RSA Serhiy Hamaliy, this year repair works in the framework of the Large Construction program are planned at two sports facilities, three schools and one kindergarten.
Also, 10 ER departments in hospitals will be opened in the region. The Head of State asked whether the necessary medical equipment had been purchased for them. According to the RSA Head, almost all departments are already provided with the equipment and functioning, but there is a shortage of medical staff, including specialists who will work with angiography equipment, so it is planned to train the appropriate teams.
