President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is on a working trip to the Chernihiv region, visited the Chernihiv National University of Technology.
Rector of the University Serhii Shkarlet showed scientific and technical developments and achievements of students and educators to the Head of State. In particular, a go-kart for juniors made by the educators and students was shown to the President. The students said that a go-kart for adults was currently being developed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy encouraged students to work on the electric car project.
Wood carving machines, a 3D printer, a portable photovoltaic power supply for military use were also shown to the President. Among the interesting developments, the head of the institution singled out VR glasses that are used in education. With the help of a special program you can see in virtual reality what will happen in case of certain actions during the repair of equipment.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy talked to members of the student council, inspected several rooms of the institution, including the press center and the assembly hall, and got himself acquainted with the conditions in which students study. An online exam was taking place in one of the rooms, so Volodymyr Zelenskyy saw this process for himself.
