During a working trip to the Dnipropetrovsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Olympic Reserves sports complex and inspected the newly built Olympic House sports center in Dnipro.
"I was very pleased to visit the complex and talk to athletes, Olympic medalists. To achieve results and victories you need to have an experienced coach. But it is equally important that modern training conditions are created. And I am glad that such a sports center is being built in Dnipro,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The President also inspected the exposition of the Museum of Olympic Achievements and left his wishes in a note.
"It is a great pride for me to be here, together with every champion, athlete, winner - real heroes of Ukraine. Honor and glory to you and all those who made this house a sports heart of Dnipro. Sincerely, Volodymyr Zelenskyy (fellow countryman)," the President wrote.
The Head of State also talked with prominent Ukrainian athletes and participants of the Olympic Games, in particular with Olympic champion Yuri Zaitsev and medal-winner Viktor Savchenko.
