The Head of State Discusses Veteran Policy with the Ambassadors of the Titans.UA Project

In Dnipro, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the photo exhibition “Titans: Stories of Invincibility. Path of a Military Volunteer” and met with veterans.

The meeting was attended by ambassadors of the Titans.UA project – war veterans who sustained severe injuries on the front lines, underwent treatment and rehabilitation, and are now helping other defenders recover and achieve fulfillment in civilian life.

Among other things, the participants discussed the implementation of veteran policy in the region. Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, noted that the policy is being carried out in each of the 86 territorial communities of the region. The primary focus now is on veteran employment, collaboration with businesses, and sports-based rehabilitation.

“It is very important that people return to life and feel truly needed. And they are not different – they are the same, but they have walked a different, heroic path. I believe that if such a system could be developed nationwide, following the example of the Dnipro region, all communities would be grateful,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The veterans shared that the Titans.UA Association will be established, and the project is planned to expand to other regions of Ukraine. Veterans' organizations in Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson have already expressed interest in joining.

By the end of April, the app is expected to be launched, providing notifications about existing programs at the state and regional levels. Artificial intelligence will offer information on all matters related to rehabilitation, obtaining necessary certificates, career guidance, education, and sports activities.

In addition, the Titans.UA project is focused on identifying land plots for the construction of social housing for veterans. A unified design for a veterans' space building has also been developed for regional centers; it will include a swimming pool, gym, administrative services center, and rooms for legal consultations. Smaller veterans' spaces, based on this model, will also be created for district centers.

Veterans emphasized the importance of feeling supported and valued, as well as working together to implement the necessary initiatives for all those returning from the front.
