President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Alassane Ouattara on the sidelines of the Global Peace Summit.
The Head of State expressed gratitude for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine from the first days of full-scale Russian aggression, as well as the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the participation of the President of Côte d'Ivoire in the Global Peace Summit and emphasized the importance of the presence of African countries and the inclusiveness of the Peace Formula.
The leaders discussed the current situation in Ukraine and the security challenges facing our country and Côte d'Ivoire. The heads of state agreed to coordinate efforts to overcome them and continue interstate contacts at various levels.
The presidents paid special attention to the issue of food security in the world and emphasized that Russia's attempts to impede free navigation in the Black Sea threaten the food security of many regions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Alassane Ouattara to pay a visit to Ukraine.
