On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Ukrainian military who courageously and selflessly defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region during the large-scale invasion of Russia.
"Today I am honored to be here and to award the best of the best. Although I believe that we have all the best at the front," said the Head of State.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the attendees on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Thank you for your service. Thank you for protecting our country and people, the lives of Ukrainian children, and therefore our future generations," he emphasized.
The President wished all defenders good health and victory.
The attendees honored the memory of those killed in the full-scale war against Russia with a moment of silence. The President noted that Ukraine will always remember their life path and heroism.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented orders and medals to military personnel.
